What are we going to be doing as DLs?

2013 is going to be a very busy year for us as Mrs Allton has explained there will be lots of opportunities to explore new technology and software.
We will be able to help other Arden students and also train the teachers.

We are currently putting a mind map together of the things we would like to look at before the end of Year 9 and we will load this onto our blog 'Plan for 2012-13' page soon.

As there is only one more Thursday meeting before the Christmas Holidays we have been told we are going to look at an app called Socrative. We also are going to have an online chat with Digital Leaders in Yorkshire about how we can use Edmodo

Mrs Allton has been talking to teachers from Finham Park School and John Henry Newman and we are going to meet up and work with their Digital Leaders in the new year. There is also a national Digital Leaders blog that we have been asked to contribute too.

Exciting new blog for Arden's Digital Leaders

Start of Arden's Digital Leaders group - November 2012

10 appointed Digital Leaders will be helping me to update this blog with details of the work we have been doing to trial software and new technology to be used at Arden.

One of the first projects to look at is the use of blogs and therefore the students involved will be keeping a blog each and you can read what they have been doing on the blog links on the left hand side of this blogs home page.
